Hi this is Kathy back with you today to share a layout of my twin niece, Dani and nephew, Andy on Dani's wedding day having a special, "ewww" moment. Such a precious photo!!!
I used the Prima "Georgia Blues" paper collection for this layout. Her colors were actually grey gray and olive green, but photographed blue and green. I used the Oval Frame 3 to surround the photo. I painted it with acrylic paint first, then added a coat of "Rock Candy" Distress Crackle Paint to get veins and texture on the leaves. Then I rubbed a gold wax into the leaves ever so lightly. Turned out okay.
After arranging lots of yummy flower clusters and fussy cut birds I added more chipboard from Creative Embellishments. Dani loves ferns. So I added clumps of the Fern Foliage 4 on each side of the layout. I covered all the fronds with microbeads so they would look like they were covered with spores. I used the same treatment on the ferns as I did on the frame.
