November "Snow Angels" Scraps of Darkness Design Team Layout

Happy Winter everyone!!!!  Yep, it snowed, it's cold (3 degrees F), but I have the new Scraps of Darkness November kit "Snow Angels" to keep me warm!!  It's filled with Bo Bunny "Winter Wishes" paper collection and lots of other goodies from Prima, etc.

We've had so little snow in the past 3 years, I don't have many winter pictures.  Go figure, I live in Alaska and don't have pictures of snow.....crazy!!!  These pics were taken last year, and are the only ones I have showing snow.  It's my 2 grandsons, Chase and Cameron, enjoying a sledding day.

The background paper comes from the Main Kit from Bo Bunny's "Winter Wishes" collection.  I used the Inka Gold "Cobalt Blue" (included in the Creativity Add On") and water and splattered around the page.  Next I used the irRESTible white colored texture spray, which comes in the Color Add On.  This is very cool stuff.  When it dries it is raised from the paper and gives it some cool snow texture effect.

I cut a piece of cardboard to use as a base for all the photos.  I used Snow-Tex around the edges to get a snowy effect.

I die cut a doily using a Prima die, and tucked it under the photo on the right side.

I began to create flower and snowflake clusters around the lo using Bo Bunny die cuts included in the Main kit and the blue flowers from the Floral Add On.  The white flowers are from a previous kit.  Some of the snowflakes I fussy cut from another Bo Bunny paper in the Main Kit.  I tucked in the little snowflake picks included in the Elements Add On.  I used a Tim Holtz die to cut the pine green sprigs.

The silver balls and twisties came from my stash.  I used the phrase stickers included in the Main Kit sticker sheet.

At the bottom of the photo above you can see the vellum phrase "Let It Snow" that I cut up from the Bo Bunny Vellum Sheet which comes in the Elements kit.  I used it 3 times to get the effect I wanted.  It's very silvery, and brightened up the lo.

I love to create multi-photo los.  I think it tells a story.  Hope you enjoyed.  Stay warm and until next stop by the Scraps of Darkness and Elegance Store and pick up a kit or, better yet, join our little club.  We have a blast.  http://www.scrapsdarkeness.com
