49th and Market Seaside Fun!

Hello Dear Friends!  I have my last layout using the Scraps of Darkness June kit "Seaside" to share with you today.  I have really enjoyed this kit, so much so that I had to create an addition layout.  This layout features my youngest grandson, Cameron early this month on a really fun camping trip.  He can be a very serious thoughtful child, you never know if you are going to get a smile lol!

I used the Kaisercraft "High Tide" paper for the background and layered 49th and Market "Sand and Sea" paper from the Patterned Paper Add-On and Main Kit.  I ripped the top two layers to get a wavy effect.  I tucked in some joint tape to added texture.  I stamped some fish at various places.  I also splattered some white ink and "Faded Jeans" Oxide Ink that comes in one of the Scraps of Elegance Add Ons.

I love multi-photo layouts.  I think get the whole story.  I matted these 2 photos in joint tape.  The background paper has this really cool design of the seaweed drifting in the current.  Well, in the Elements Add On are the 3-D Embellishments from 49th and Market that coordinate.  So I used them on top of the design to give lots of dimension.

Under the photos I applied some of the tulle to add to the flowing feeling of the layout.  Beneath the tulle a created a flower/seashell/starfish collage.  Now this was fun to make.  I used flowers from the Floral and Creativity Add Ons.  I also added in the starfish by 49th and Market from the 3-D embellishments.

I really hope you enjoyed my layout today, and hope you will check back for more inspiration from our fabulous Scraps of Darkness and Scraps of Elegance Design Teams.

Thanks for peeking!

Kathy
