Creative Embellishments - December Post "Visiting Santa"

Hello dear friends!!!  I just love the Holidays, don't you!!!  I love everything about it, even all the stress!!!  I have a Christmas layout to share today featuring my two grandsons visiting Santa last year.  It may be the last time, they are 8 and almost 10 this year, so I'm not sure how much they believe, sigh.  I will miss the magic and innocence on their little faces.

I love using plaids for little guys at Christmas, oh well,  at any time really!!! I got this really good paper from Anna that is all sparkly and foiled that I couldn't resist using for this layout and is the foundation for the layout.  I chose to use the little Santa's Helpers elves to surround the photo of Santa.  First I painted them with a Christmas green acrylic paint and then rubbed a bright metallic gold paint on, and last sprinkled some gold glitter on.  Love the effect!!!

I wanted to some fun dangles hanging from the pointsettia flower clusters so I cut apart the Falling Stars Border.  I painted both pieces in a luscious bright metallic gold to make them pop.

And last I added the sentiment "Merry Christmas" done in an old world script, which I love that I painted in black.

I sure hope you enjoyed your visit today.  Tis the season, and a very Merry Christmas to all of you!!!
